Arnas, you certainly have a point that cryptocurrencies take an enormous amount of energy and that has to be reckoned with.

I see the advantages of cryptocuuency as being enormous. It would be liberalizing to hundreds of millions of people around the world. Something like what cell phones did for people everywhere. No longer needed a telephone line and exchange but in the cryptocurrency case no longer needing banks and governments. Fantastic.

We are living in a very exciting time where some big changes can happen in the lives of so many people around the world. Yes there are the environmental concerns but with the increased prosperity that cryptocurrency can deliver they can be managed.
