Arnas Mik, you are probably right.

Hunkering down with the way America “was” ultimately doesn't serve Republicans well. It provides no future or flexibility to participate in a changing world. The change demographics alone will tend to alienate them. They have had tons of opportunities to shed Trumpism but they have not -- I think because they lack alternative leadership but also imagination. The Republican party at this point probably needs to collapse. I wrote on this in Hearst Op-ed pages and also MEDIUM "Donald's Ship Needs Sinking -- to the Bottom" and I invite you to read.
