Anton Krutikov, we must begin considering a post-war Russia. The West will have some influence on its shape. It's in no one's interest to have a failed Russia.

It was a mistake to vilify all Russian oligarchs. It was primarily driven by popular anti-billionaire sentiment. Although, there was legitimacy in confiscating property because a portion was actually Putin's.

But the West successfully pushed the oligarchs deeper into the arms of Putin instead of making them more useful during this war and what happens after.

Excellent and informative article. Many thanks.
