Anthony, for most, facts don't paint a picture.
Regrettably, most (indeed Americans) are NOT equipped with sufficient mathematical skills. It's like expecting the average Joe to make sense of an architect's plans or a financier's spreadsheet.
The FACTS (expressed until blue in the face) are unconvincing because most people can't add them up. We can conclude that this is pitiful, but there it is.
We have to paint pictures for people. Use colorful anecdotes and metaphors supported by facts.
We now live in a world of choosing one's facts, which makes navigation and saving the planet even more hazardous.
Many thanks. Always great.
