Biden is a frail-looking 81-year-old who is a poor communicator and worsening. He wasn't up to doing an interview reaching millions on Super Bowl day.

He insists on being the presidential nominee when two-thirds of Democrats want another. But he has run the clock and successfully shut out a younger, more talented candidate.

Democrats are now stuck with Biden because of his vanity and complacent and cowardly folk around him.

Biden has to convince voters that he is up to doing the job. Worse, he has to campaign and win the election.

The nomination could be contested at the Democratic convention, which would require Biden to give way -- something he has so far resisted.
