Andrew, we already give people money.

But mostly it's for specifics: housing with discounted mortgages, food with stamps, healthcare with medicare, transportation with passes, etc.

Or the money comes with restrictions -- of age, sex, income, etc.

Reparations would be a nightmare of who gets what.

Baby Bonds make sense. But better would be a base income for all which would provide a platform for economic mobility. It's likely not too far away.
