Andrea Gonzalez-Ramirez, yes, Cory Booker is certainly a very talented guy. His eyes lit up for too few.

Certainly to his credit, Booker did make it past some others. Bennet, DeLaney, Castro and Bullock were also good Presidential material — more I am sure. Maybe the abundance of contestants made for bafflement or complacency of voters to get an early grip.

Joseph Biden entering was a big distraction to lesser known (and more talented) candidates such as Booker. A matter of timing perhaps, but Booker arriving as a senator from Washington DC, as opposed to a successful Mayor of Newark, lacked some distinction. Another point, is that Booker seemed stuck on city and black issues not especially relevant to the country as a whole — excellent none the less.

Booker (beyond love) did not paint a vision for the country moving forward — to opportunities delightful and enriching to us all. That vision has not been painted by others either. Bernie wants us on old iPhones and driving second hand Chevrolets, Elizabeth wants us continually figuring her directions of how to live because we are too stupid, Amy is a good soldier in the trenches and Joe just wants old in the White House. Pete has a way ahead with youth and confidence. Andrew has one excellent idea ($1000 per month per adult) up for adoption.
