Andre Alyeska, there are good reasons for having a base income. This is better than pushing the minimum wages because it interferes less with the labor market and is much easier.

Economic mobility is what I believe you are talking about, and unfortunately, this has stalled in America. We all pay the price for that, including the wealthy.

We want people to be better educated and skilled because this makes the world go round. I recently wrote "Jobs! Jobs! Jobs! Cry the Politicians" and invite you to read.
