America should leave it alone, Hossein. Joe Biden already has enough egg on his face in dealing with Saudi Arabia, and continuing will lose even more credibility and, perhaps more importantly, divert attention from more pressing concerns, such as ending the war in Ukraine before exhausting support for it.

Saudi Arabia is annoying, but the relationship is worth more than this spat. It would not be out of the question that Biden would have to walk back the rhetoric, threats, and actions AGAIN with circumstances changing in the future.
