Alexander, you can beat up on Joe Manchin all you like but he is what he is. Certainly no hero -- that's for sure. The problem was (and is) that the Democrats did not get the overwhelming win in 2020 that they expected. And they have continued as if they had. Fine, but it was bound to meet walls.

Unfortunately the BBB now will be watered down some more and take valuable time away from actually SELLING it.

The bill itself had become way too much -- catch all, until it became difficult to describe to your grandmother.

Overwhelmingly, at least to me, the democrats have to be out there selling -- and, not just to their own people.

Biden, is a problem. He's a lousy salesman.

The leadership in the White House is a problem going forward. But after the midterms this can be openly addressed. But, for now we have Biden.
