There are dangers to American security and prosperity by NOT being fully engaged with the rest of the world. Both Trump and Sanders have championed the isolationist trend. And Biden would have allowed Putin to take over Ukraine without Zelensky's determination.

Afghanistan and Iraq cost many lives and dollars but damaged American willingness to engage more effectively in the world, such as in Ukraine.
