Israel can't eradicate Hamas; heading directly into that would be a horrible mistake. Hamas can be stripped of its vicious elements over time and can't be beaten to death.

Netanyahu and the extreme right and religious need Hamas in Gaza, Hezbollah in Lebanon, and the ayatollah in Iran to survive. These are their friends. The leadership of Israel must change to get on a different path. This was happening to a degree before Netanyahu resurfaced.

Atrocities have been performed in Israel. Now Hamas and Iran welcome Israel's retaliation of its military youth into Gaza to savage the population and bear horrible losses themselves.

Saner heads and those thinking of Israel should NOT take this bait.
