Alex, you have a point regarding the timing of the impeachment trial. It's now less important perhaps to be done immediately since the Republicans have regrouped on the Trump side (God knows where they think they're going). This would allow the trial its own day without rush and the most comprehensive case brought while minimising the "witch hunt" cry.

It would also allow the Aministration and Congress to get the vaccine and rescue package rolling.
