It had a retro feel and almost a welcome embrace of Trump as if he would make Biden succeed.

Not a great day for America moving into the future.

The indifference to many of his supporters wanting him to stand aside raises questions that Washington does what it wants to regardless.

Very depressing -- a giant opportunity missed.
