Agreed Ian. The U.S. hasn't always played by the rules, but that is not a reason to disregard them. Iraq and Afghanistan invasions were questionable.

The U.S. freeing Kuwait acted responsibly, as was the UK with the Falkland Islands. Both outcomes were positive.
