That didn't stop many Biden supporters in New York and Washington from taking solace in the 2023 off-election results.

David Brooks overtook his Friday night PBS NewsHour colleague in enthusiasm for Joe Biden. A feat I thought impossible. Later, the same evening, there was a party-like Washing Week in Review because the pressure was off the Biden issue.

It's incredulous that Washington is so deaf, cowardly, and groupthink. Obviously, no recollection of history when another UNLIKABLE was put on rails to the White House but didn't make it to the station.
