Again Lauren Elizabeth, Democrats would serve themselves better by moving on from this. The pair are what they are and should never have been relied upon to deliver. MOVE ON and focus on things that can be achieved such as PARTS of the voting rights but NOT the whole cumbersome caboodle. That attempt (along with ending the filibuster) will simply be chalked up for Republicans -- and, Democrats to read FAILURE.

Democrats need to get more people voting for them. And, they are not going to come from Washington and city enclaves.

Maybe, just maybe, Democrats need to talk to folk that DON'T look like them.
