Adebayo, you are right. The biggest mistake Britain has made since ----- well, I don't know when. The pain that the British have inflicted on themselves will continue for possibly decades.

But even with the misrepresentation and outright lies, the British public voted for Brexit. And, for a bunch of reasons with no direct connections to common sense.

Should they undo Brexist? Yes. But they first have to digest what they have done and then start again to rejoin the EU.

New Zealand, through no fault of its own, lost the British market in 1973. The UK was New Zealand's biggest buyer of dairy, lamb and wool. It took 20 years of ingenuity and very hard work to replace what was lost. The New Zealand economy and people took an enormous hit. This was a case study that should have been understood by British voters before going to the polls.
