Agreed, dreadful leadership. Johnson has extraordinary communication skills but stood for nothing apart from his advancement. Unfortunately, replacements on the Tory side are unimpressive to me (although their names reflect the changing demographics of the UK).

The Labour Party shares some of the blame for Brexit. Jeromy Corbyn was not a remain enthusiast, and his total unattractiveness and "old Labour" policies allowed Boris the premiership.
