The British population has had poor choices for PMs, and Liz Truss can be included as she presents no credible solutions to all the woes.

It's old territory, but if Labour did not have the awful throw-back leader Jeremy Corbyn, Boris Johnson would not have been PM. If Jeremy Corbyn had been more enthusiastic for remain, the UK would not have had Brexit.

Fortunately, the Labour Party now looks in better shape.
