Adebayo, Bernie Sanders likely is pleased with his success. He pointed to issues of injustice and never ceased talking about them. He was responsible for moving America to the left.

Did America want him as president? No. For all his great effort, Sanders couldn't win the primary against two lackluster opponents, Joe Biden and Hillary Clinton.

Without Bernie hell-bent in the 2020 primary, it's possible that Joe Biden would not have won and remained a "Dead man walking" -- Van Jones.

Possibly Sanders could have won against Trump -- Biden managed to. But as President, he would have been a disaster. He would have taken America even more on the protectionist, isolationist path than Biden.

Sanders has never liked any trade agreement (he voted against NAFTA and TPP) and believes rent control is a good idea.

Bless the guy for his honesty and voice.
