Adebayo Adeniran, you left out the Christian Crusades? They were pretty horrific.

Blaming the books is probably not the answer. Generally, they were written with helpful intentions of being societal codes for folk to live alongside each other.

Is the American constitution responsible for the forty-plus thousand gun deaths a year? Surely, the interpretation of the text (the second amendment) is the problem.

The scriptures become vehicles and cover for all kinds of behaviors. Wonderful blames and cleansers also.

You may be too tough on poor Tony. His caliber of leadership is sorely wanting in the current UK and America.
