Democrats have a tall order to change the polls before Election Day.

With Biden exiting the race, they have increased their chances. However, whether Harris has the substance to be victorious remains a question mark. Harris's reputation for disorganization was highlighted in her failed 2020 campaign and carried into the White House.

It's possible Harris has learned, but also not. Harris has had a positive start, however.

Democrats would better serve themselves by getting off the identity politics, which have a habit of interfering with success.

Her VP nominee selection is a test for her. She should resist pressure that it must be one of the governors. It must be HER choice.
