Most writers are on the left. But it depends on perspective.

To some, I am to the right of Attila the Hun, and others, a bleeding heart liberal. But from whatever position, communication is essential. We should be able to talk to anyone about anything and be rewarding -- that left-wing nut, William Buckley did.

Republicans have all but disappeared in America. They have successfully removed themselves from policy and politics and are unable to govern. It began with Newt Gingrich, who equates politics with war when it's the antithesis. This is a loss not only to Republicans but also to Democrats and America.

The Democrats fare better and have talent in their ranks but are stuck with Biden's mediocre leadership.
