Business, trade, and consumerism have raised living standards worldwide. Millions of Chinese have been lifted from poverty, and India no longer suffers from famines. Bangladesh was once a basket case, and other Asian countries were impoverished; this is no longer the case (with a few exceptions relating to political mismanagement, not capitalism). Because of capitalism, Singapore and Hong Kong are extreme cases of rags to riches.

Capitalism keeps America thriving and is a bulwark against many detrimental decisions of Biden and Trump, mainly isolationist and protectionist measures.

Maintaining competition is a concern, but with markets generally open, people worldwide will continue to benefit from building things others buy.
