Adebayo,

Banks rip off customers with high interest rates, fees, and penalties. But customers seem to have a high tolerance for the abuse. Perhaps they don't realize how much they pay or simply bow down to banks. The complacency appears independent of income (I recall wealthy customers carrying huge balances on luxury store credit cards).

Meanwhile, customers aggressively resist paying for parking and shipping (New York City could ease its financial woes by justified charging for street parking, and most retailers push shipping into purchase prices to avoid showing the actual cost).

The average American household pays $400 - $1,000 annually for the China tariffs and doesn't seem to mind or be interested. Europeans must be up in arms over the tariff increases on Chinese EVs. Are they? ANY vehicle will cost thousands more.

Best.
