To win, more than handing the presidency and election over to Harris is likely required. Although the logistics would be more tricky, competition among a dozen or so candidates is preferable. Voter involvement is essential to producing a strong candidate. Harris would be welcome to compete.

Money shouldn't be an issue for the new nominee because engagement and excitement would spur donations.
