Actually, Elizabeth Warren was still in the race. Not doing very well having made the mistake of trying to place figures on essentially Bernie's programs.

Yes, you are right that the Democratic establishment resurrected Biden as the moderate candidate to upset Bernie's quite possible clinch of the nomination.

Bernie Sanders has to be commended for bringing issues to attention. But as for many of his solutions, they would have been destructive. He is a populist who believes in top down central policies. He was an advocate of rent control for example. And a protectionist: he has never voted for a trade agreement in his life (we would not have had NAFTA that we benefitted from enormously and Mexico was lifted out of poverty).

There is plenty of criticism of the Biden presidency without wading off into the not so and not accurate.
