A thoughtful piece, Jeremy Raymondjack.

A popular explanation for the Democrats' loss in 2024 is their disconnection from the working class. However, this is likely part of a broader disconnect with voters. Over decades, Democrats have removed their presence from swathes of America, leaving Republicans to fill the space. Unbelievably, Democrats neglected Florida.

The congressional results were not awful, but the loss of the presidency was self-inflicted and never should have happened.

Presidential candidates picked by the party establishment have a history of losing. Without the cover of a pandemic, Biden in 2020 likely would have lost to Trump.

A special focus on the working class will prove disappointing. Democrats must be much more creative in their offerings to improve American lives. Their offerings must be broad and bold, as must their selling plans.

Trump, Biden, and Harris presented no vision of the American future. Artificial intelligence was barely mentioned.

The Democratic (andties have opportunities to prepare Americans for the Republican) par rapid and exciting changes ahead.

A starting point would be to focus on people rather than jobs. I invite you to read "Jobs! Jobs! Jobs! Cry the Politicians," which addresses this.

Many thanks. Best.
